These days, at most conferences, everyone is talking about AI technological disruption, changing the face of the world as we know it, etc.

Yeah ok… cool.

I put my hands into coding with Open AI’s GPT3 capabilities in 2021.

But actually, most of these conference speakers have no idea of what they are talking about. Usually, none of them have got in their hands a concrete understanding of AI capabilities, but they have read somewhere on the internet some blogs talking about the crazy potential of their AI.

They might have watched a Youtube video promoting the application of Microsoft’s Cortana or IBM Watson on some great surprising demos… And now they think this demo is applicable and will destroy every job on the planet.

One thing is sure: selling AI to Fortunes 500 is becoming the business of Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Google, etc: and their demos of AI will be more and more impressive because they are actually ads. And just like car ads or travel ads: they make you dream.

So let’s calm down a little and get our hands dirty to see what exactly the supposedly best AI in the world, designed by OpenAI, can do.

In this video, we will go through the invite-only API of Open Ai’s GPT3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3), the autoregressive language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text.

For the coding part, I used mainly Python and Jupyter notebooks. For the Chatbot’s tech stack I used PHP, Venv, Ngrok, and Twillio API.

Enjoy the video and if you liked it, share it on Linkedin!

PS: If you want to know more about what I think will be the real consequences of AI on our society by 2030, you can read my book, http://theadaptiveeconomy.com/
